Jim Nox : New York Defiant
I find it hard to bet against coach Darren Everett. He always has them well prepared. Expect a great game.

Moore and Nox Mock Draft

Pick 1: Richmond Flames
Larry Moore: Richard Rowell - QB
Here you have a guy, who really benefits the atmosphere in the building. Everyone wants to be around him. Plays with decent intelligence. This guy could be skeet shooting and would still be hitting his targets. Delivers the ball with zip and purpose. Do not be afraid to draft a position of need here. This kid is well worthy of a pick this early. Perfect situation for him, and great fit for the team.

Jim Nox: Donald Brewer - LB
Strength is definitely one of his premier qualities. It will serve him well. Fast enough to get around slower Offensive Tackles. Coaches like his instincts. Rock solid player is just what they need. A great fit here, both in terms of need and quality.

Coaches like his instincts. Solid talent that fits their needs. Really that is all there is to it. Perfect situation. Take the money and run.

Jim Nox: Richard Rowell - QB
Known among his teammates as a bit of a goofball, but never in a bad way. The kind that keeps spirits high even when a season goes south. He reads the field well. Pick 4: Miami Tropics
Larry Moore: Anthony Bear - CB
Coaches are always looking to add more speed to the defensive backfield. This guy has enough to make an impact. He is a smart kid, and it shows when he plays. Some might say this is a 'need' pick, but we must remember, this is a really good player as well. He will contribute early and often. No losers here.

Jim Nox: Anthony Bear - CB
Rarely lets receivers get separation. Has nice speed. will be fun to watch. Scouts highlight the intelligent decisions he makes on the field. Fits the bill, great quality pick, and fills a soft spot on the roster. They should have no qualms here, run to the podium and get your man.

Pick 5: Grand Rapids Dragons
Larry Moore: Milo Curtis - DT
He brings decent strength to the position. Can collapse the pocket against weaker offensive linemen. Fast enough to blow up plays in the backfield if he gets immediate penetration. They gotta be happy to get this guy. Such a talent and he fits their needs. I would imagine the war room is celebrating when they make this pick.

It saves a lot of time when the fundamentals are good. Not the strongest, but strong enough. Can maintain his leverage and shed blocks. People watching his tape often do not notice his speed. It is not something that jumps out at you, but he is pretty fast. Do not be afraid to draft a position of need here. This kid is well worthy of a pick this early. Perfect situation for him, and great fit for the team.

Jim Nox: Joseph Hartwell - LB

Nice instincts. Rock solid player is just what they need. A great fit here, both in terms of need and quality.

Jim Nox: Jan Ochs - C
He is driven by the love of the sport. Run blocking is very different when facing college kids than the full-grown men in the pros. This kid has the skills to do the latter. Well schooled in the game, and it shows on the field. They will be happy to get him, they could use an upgrade at the position, and he certainly fits the bill. A franchise caliber player. Just what they have been looking for.
