Moore and Nox Mock Draft

Pick 1: New Orleans Corsairs
Larry Moore: Napoleon Burns - LB
On tape you clearly see that he is a good tackler. His physical foundation given him an nice ceiling. Fill a need, get a quality player, everyone wins! He will fit right in with the pros.

Jim Nox: Napoleon Burns - LB
Coaches like how well he tackles. This young man can hold his own in the weight room. And he is strong enough to hold his own on the field as well. Fits nicely with their needs. Fits nicely with the draft spot. Getting it right is important with these early picks. This guy is right.

Pick 2: Downriver Waves
Larry Moore: John Donaldson - LB
This is a young man who has enough strength to shed blocks. Did I mention strength?. If you look at his tape again, you can see he reacts quickly on the field. When the available talent fits what you need, there is reason to celebrate. They are getting a great talent who will serve them for many years.

Jim Nox: Jason Wilkes - LB
Due to his work ethic, this kid is very coachable. His good natured behavior, even toward opponents have earned him some criticism, but also an awful lot of respect. This is a kid who really contributes to the team spirit and the social cohesiveness on the team. Strength is definitely one of his premier qualities. It will serve him well. People watching his tape often do not notice his speed. It is not something that jumps out at you, but he is pretty fast. They almost have to make this pick. You do not want to look back in five years and see this kid on another team knowing he could have been yours.

Pick 3: Baltimore Ponies
Larry Moore: Nicholas Baker - WR
Fine catching ability, often comes down with the ball even when pressured. Adjusts well to incoming tacklers, and can use his agility and balance to turn a short catch into a big play. Rock solid player is just what they need. A great fit here, both in terms of need and quality.

Jim Nox: Nicholas Baker - WR
He has good hands. Has the elusiveness and the ability to change direction smoothly to punish any lapse in attention from the defense. Might not be what fans want, but there is a reason people are getting paid to make these decisions. This is a rock solid pick, and he fits what they are looking for. Fans will come around quickly once they see him play.

Pick 4: California Dons
Larry Moore: Robert Waldron - G
Consistently makes good decisions on the field. Fits nicely with their needs. Fits nicely with the draft spot. Getting it right is important with these early picks. This guy is right.

Jim Nox: Matthew Dillard - CB
Known among his teammates as a bit of a goofball, but never in a bad way. The kind that keeps spirits high even when a season goes south. Do not fret. You need him, fans love him. Surefire pick.

Pick 5: Montreal Royal
Larry Moore: Francesco Culp - WR
Fits nicely with their needs. Fits nicely with the draft spot. Getting it right is important with these early picks. This guy is right.

Jim Nox: Augustus Bull - DE
His leadership is through the roof. He is on the frontline, always. This kid breeds synergy, teams play better when he is on the field. Will not have to come off the field for in obvious passing situations. Has enough quickness to pressure Quarterbacks off the edge. Rock solid player is just what they need. A great fit here, both in terms of need and quality.

Pick 6: Miami Tropics
Larry Moore: Jason Wilkes - LB
Here is a kid who no one doubts will put in the work. His good natured behavior, even toward opponents have earned him some criticism, but also an awful lot of respect. Known for being a bit of a joker in the locker room. but in the good way, everyone smiles when asked about him. Really strong. Will push through blocks. Fast enough to get around slower Offensive Tackles. They need players at the position, and good ones at that. He fits the bill, he is worth the pick. End of story.

Jim Nox: John Donaldson - LB
The expectation is that his strength will translate into fumbles. It will definitely help him shed blocks and produce big hits. Will not have a hard time digesting a pro playbook. They need playmakers at this position. This is what they are getting here. Solid pick.

Pick 7: Portland Roses
Larry Moore: Christopher Barnhill - DT
Known for helping out teammates, if they hit a rough patch, whether it is on the field or in their personal lives. They will be running to the podium for this one.

Jim Nox: Francesco Culp - WR
Rock solid player is just what they need. A great fit here, both in terms of need and quality.

Pick 8: Nashville Tuts
Larry Moore: Dennis Wertz - T
Execution in the running game is something coaches have noticed about him. He blocks pretty well. Plays with intelligence. Some might say this is a 'need' pick, but we must remember, this is a really good player as well. He will contribute early and often. No losers here.

Jim Nox: Dennis Wertz - T
This kid is already a pretty good blocker in the running game. He will only get better as he refines his technique. A cerebral player. Are there other guys worth picking here? Sure, but none of them fit this well with what they need, and he is a solid talent.

Pick 9: Easton Bald Eagles
Larry Moore: Augustus Bull - DE
Every team values leadership, someone to lead by example, this is the guy. If you ask around, everyone will tell you, this kid is all about the team. Will never become a speed rush specialist, but has sufficient speed to become a prototype Defensive End. With this kid, this is a need pick they will not regret.

Jim Nox: Derick Lorenz - LB
What you get with this kid, is a guy who understands that this is a team sport. You need him, just get him already.

Pick 10: Grand Rapids Dragons
Larry Moore: Milton Hartwell - LB
Teammates gravitate toward him, they follow his lead. Coaches love that about him. Makes good tackles. Has developed nice strength for being this early in his career. He fills a need for them. They will be happy to get him.

Jim Nox: Christopher Barnhill - DT
He takes care of his teammates. Most everyone who ever played with him, counts him as their friend. Fits the bill, great quality pick, and fills a soft spot on the roster. They should have no qualms here, run to the podium and get your man.
